Drew chats with band members from Kazha at Konsplosion

Kazha is a 3 piece rock band from Japan.  They have worked with world wide performers including Grammy award winner Bob James.   Lead Singer and bassist Kazuha Oda's work has appeared in iTunes top 100 charts in several different countries.  The band's first album was released in 2010 "Overture". Since then, Kazha has released another album "Evolution" in 2013 and "Stay" an EP in 2016. 
Kazha has been performing in world famous venues across the United States including A Go Go in Las Angeles, Rockhouse Live in Memphis, sharing the stages with Gilby Clarke, Linch Mob, Tantric and L.A. Guns.   Kazha performed in a packed room at Konsplosion 2016 in Fort Smith!  Drew had the honor of speaking with lead singer and bassist Kazuha Oda and guitarist Hideki Matsushige.  Check out their interview below.




Kazha is currently working out of Memphis, Tennessee on their new album with Grammy award winning engineer from "Up Town Funk" Boo Mitchell at Royal Studios.

10 days into Beastmode for the Brave Run

George Chmiel continues his run across america for the Beastmode for the Brave run.  He is 10 days into his run completing 343.97 miles of his two month journey. He will start his run back up on Day 11 from Benson, Arizona.  As he runs through the desert he continues to run into obstacles including ones from mother nature in his path.

7 days into Beastmode for the Brave Run

George Chmiel continues his run across america for the Beastmode for the Brave run. Seven days into his run he has completed 247.46 miles. He has started his run through the Arizona Desert.  After a doctors visit George has found unique way to adjust to his minor injuries.  

George continues to be positive throughout his rugged journey. He had his first river crossing.  He successfully crossing the Gila River on Day 7.

Behind the Scenes from the Beastmode for the Brave Run across America Day 4




On Day 4 extreme runner George Chmiel suffers intense pain in his left knee.  George stated in his post on instagram that his knee is looking like it is dislocated.




He said that his body is screaming to take the easy way out but he wont quit.  He continues on his journey across america. He will be making his way across Arizona this weekend.

First 51 hours of the Beastmode for the Brave Run across America


They had a crazy first two days!  Trailer disconnected on highway, toilet back-up and two overuse injuries in both legs.  He said the team is stronger because of it.  George also stated that the support has been incredible!

Lucky finalists will be chosen for a chance to perform in the Expo Center building on fairgrounds at Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair Talent Competition on September 26th, at 7:00 PM!

Beastmode For The Brave Run Across America



One runner, one journey and one dedicated team on a mission. Their mission is to raise awareness for growing issues and get them the necessary medical and resource help our veterans need after returning home from battle.  They hope in the process they will inspire others to participate. The donations collected directly benefit American Sniper Chris Kyle's Guardian for Heroes Foundation.

The Runner:

George will run across America in 60 days!  Yes that you read correctly.  A sixty day run across the United States.  He is on a mission to pay homage to our Veterans and help bring awareness to the serious issues facing our american heroes when they return home from the horrors of battle.

He has a team of loyal patriots who have put their lives on hold to help with this 60 day run and provide support for George Chmiel.

George will run 50 miles per day for 60 days a total of 3,002 miles across 14 states.  There will be 6 events to benefit Guardian for Heroes Foundation that is helping treat the invisible wounds of war.

On October 21st George's route will bring him to Rogers, Arkansas and this will put him more than halfway through his journey.  He will run to Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas for a benefit concert surrounded by veterans, current military and support from the entire Northwest Arkansas area.   You can join Beastmode for the Brave and Guardian for Heroes Foundation concert and honor our heroes. The Arkansas CW to Air Flood Relief Benefit Concert


The Arkansas CW will air a 2-hour live event on Labor day starting at 7pm. 

Louisiana Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Relief hosted by Harry Connick Jr and Randy Jackson. This benefit concert will include a dozen of well-known artists, including Better Than Ezra, Sonny Landreth, Chris Thomas King, MacKenzie Bourg, Luther Kent and Rockin' Dopsie.

Monday's episodes of Supergirl will air on Saturday, Sept. 10 starting at 7pm

The Arkansas CW Launches Morning Newscast

40/29 News Sunrise on the Arkansas CW will air Monday through FridayStarting Tuesday, September 6th


Beginning Tuesday, September 6th viewers will be able to watch 40/29 News Sunrise on the Arkansas CW weekdays from 7:00 – 7:30 a.m. 


Using the award-winning newsgathering resources from local ABC affiliate and sister station 40/29 TV, the 7:00 a.m. newscast on The Arkansas CW will offer local viewers an option for the LIVE. LOCAL. LATE BREAKING. coverage they have come to expect from 40/29 News.  40/29 News Sunrise on the Arkansas CW will feature familiar faces, including Anchors Daniel Armbruster and Yuna Lee, plus traffic reporter Allison Wise along with weather meteorologist Laura Huckabee.   Teams of field crews from across the entire region will cover important news and weather events from Fort Smith, The River Valley and all of Northwest Arkansas.

“We’ve long been committed to localism and to serving our community on The Arkansas CW,” said KHBS/KHOG-TV President and General Manager, Shawn Oswald. “In August, 2012, we added a 9 p.m. local newscast on the station. This expansion into the 7:00 a.m. time period extends our commitment to providing local viewers our award-winning coverage at a time that is important to them.”

MADtv Returns on The CW



MADtv will makes it's return to television Tuesday at 8pm on The Arkansas CW.  The series will star eight new comedic performers and former cast member of the original show will appear as special guest stars in each episode reprising some of MADtv's most popular characters.

The new cast includes:

Carlie Craig is an actress, comic, singer, improviser and impressionist whose impressive credits include producer/performer on “Todrick,” the MTV docu-series from YouTube star Todrick Hall, as well as USA Network’s “First Impressions with Dana Carvey,” where she went viral with her video “Celebrity Impressions by Carlie Craig.”





Chelsea Davison is a sketch comedy writer and performer based in Los Angeles, known for her work on MTV, UCB and YouTube. She is currently a writer on the hit Comedy Central show @Midnight and was named a “New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. She also co-starred with Amy Poehler in “These Girls.”




Jeremy D. Howard is known for his larger-than-life characters and impeccable comedic timing. A master of improvisation, he has been in several independent films and played the lead in the movie “Hollywood Street.” In 2016, he participated in the CBS Diversity Showcase. This athlete and former choir director has a 3- octave range and has been a principal actor in numerous commercials.




Amir K is well known for his stand-up comedy appearances around the world. Born Amir Kamyab, he is an Iranian-American performer whose work is a combination of storytelling, character work and improvisation shaped by an uncanny range of accents and dialects. He has appeared on “Last Comic Standing” and “Jerks with Cameras.” He has also had roles in the Academy Award-winning film “Argo” and recently starred in the film “The Pyramid.”




Lyric Lewis is a member of The Groundlings Main Company and was featured in the 2015 New Faces: Characters showcase at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. She was a cast member in the 2015 CBS Diversity Showcase. Her past acting credits include “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Drunk History.” She will be lending her voice in the upcoming animated series “SuperMansion” with Bryan Cranston.




Piotr Michael is a versatile impressionist, improviser and actor. He’s a regular contributor to “The Howard Stern Show,” known for his impersonations of celebrities such as Simon Cowell, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump. He’s a popular voiceover artist whose credits include Disney’s “Wander Over Yonder,” “Conan” and “Real Time with Bill Maher,” as well as video games “Final Fantasy,” “Call of Duty” and “Warcraft.” His podcast, “The Mixed Nut Show,” features his impressions and characters.



Michelle Ortiz is known for her brazen and bold humor. She studied at the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia and trained as a classical opera singer in Germany. Ortiz participated in the 2014 ABC Diversity Showcase and the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase. Her television credits include “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” “Life in Pieces,” and “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.” 






Adam Ray is a comedian/actor best known for his roles in “The Heat” and “Spy,” both starring Melissa McCarthy and directed by Paul Feig. He is also featured in the upcoming reboot of “Ghostbusters” as the voice of the iconic character “Slimer.” He currently co-hosts the new TBS comedy game show “Separation Anxiety,” as well as the popular podcast “About Last Night,” which has featured guests including Melissa McCarthy, Bob Saget and Whitney Cummings. His comedy sketches have garnered over 30 million views on YouTube and Funny or Die

NUK and The Arkansas CW have teamed up to collect baby items for the Teen Action & Support Center.

Please help us by donating on on Saturday, July 16th from 8am to 11am at the Walmart Supercenter on Walton Blvd in Bentonville.
