BFF Announces Concert at Walmart AMP

Exciting news for music fans, on May 4th as part of the Bentonville Film Festival, the My Country Nation Concert will hit the stage at the Walmart AMP.

Headlining the concert will be platinum-selling recording artist Darius Rucker.  Country/Pop artist Cassadee Pope and Arkansas' own Barrett Barber will also perform at the event.

BFF Announces Films for 2016 Festival

The Bentonville Film Festival has released the full slate of films that will be part of the competition this year. BFF will feature 34 films, this includes 16 documentaries, 18 narrative films and the addition of a short film competition.

BFF Passes On Sale Today

The Bentonville Film Festival is almost here and now you can buy you passes in advance. The passes will go on sale today, March 18, starting at noon. 

There are several passes to choose from, ranging in prices from $75 to $5000.  Quantities are limited so get your passes soon! Passes bought will be available to pick up at Will Call at the Box Office starting on April 25.

The CW Renews 11 Shows!

Good news for all you CW fans, all your favorite characters are coming back for another season. The CW network has announced that it is renewing 11 shows for next season.

Danú:10x10 Arts Series

Just in time for St. Patrick's day, Danú hits the Walton Arts Center stage this Sunday at 4pm.  From fierce fiddle reels to pensive ballads, Danú's high energy performance are a musical journey to their native Ireland. With songs in both English and Gaelic, this will be a night to embrace the music of Ireland.

NWA Mercy Family YMCA Ride For A Child Event this Saturday!

This weekend is the Ride for a Child event at the NWA Mercy Family YMCA presented by Henkel.  Plus, brought to you by Church & Dwight Co., Inc. and L'il Critters. 

All event proceeds will go to the YMCA child scholarship fund to help with preschool, afterschool and youth programs.  Free children activities on site during the event including bike safety, bike ride and bike giveaways.  

Cost per individual is $50 and $200 per team (max of 5 members).  Get your friends and family to support your team!

Bring  your own bike and indoor trainer, or register early to use one of the NWA Y's new spin bikes.  Prizes for top team/individual fundraisers, furthest distance, and best-dressed.

2016 Bentonville Film Festival

The 2nd annual Bentonville Film Festival is almost here!  The festival will be held May 3-8. 

Film submissions are open and the films that are accepted for the festival will be announced in March.

CW Spring 2016 Lineup Changes

The CW network has released the premiere date for it's last mid-season show.  Containment will premiere at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19th after The Flash, iZombie which is currently in that time slot will season finale on April 12th.

The CW has also set dates for the return of Reign and the premiere of the final season of Beauty & the Beast.

Reign will return Monday, April 25th at 7 p.m. Reign will take the place of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend which finales on April 18th. The final season of  Beauty & the Beast will premiere on Thursday, June 2nd at 8 p.m.

CW Pilot Season Begins

The CW Network has ordered six pilots for 2016. Keep in mind that these are just pilot orders, none of these shows have been picked up yet.

So here is a list of the 6 pilots.

RIVERDALE

"Set in present day and based on the Archie Comic characters, Riverdale is a surprising and subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica and their friends, exploring the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade."

UNTITLED MARS PROJECT

"A team of explorers arrive on Mars to join the first human colony on the planet, only to discover that their predecessors have vanished.  Led by a woman whose husband is among the missing, the colonist are forced to change their mission from exploration and settlement to investigation and survival."

TRANSYLVANIA

Update on upcoming episode of Legends of Tomorrow

Stephen Amell, star of The CW's Arrow revealed on Faceboook that an iconic part of Oliver Queen's look will show up on episode six of the new hit series DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In a video he confirmed that he would be donning the iconic Green Arrow goatee. He also confirmed that Oliver will have one arm and that we will meet Connor Hawke.

This contrary to what Amell tweeted in July.
