The National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China Present Peking Dreams
The National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic
of China Present Peking Dreams United States Tour. They are now at Walton Arts Center performing this Friday and Saturday December 11th and 12th.
We had a chance to speak with the Artist Director Deng, Baojin today before their performance for area school kids.

Peking Dreams incorporates elements of acrobatics,
Chinese circus and Peking Opera, and invites audiences into an artistic world
full of history and wonder. The actors' flawless performance, colorful costumes
and elaborate make-up will astound audiences with visual and aural treats.

Peking (today known as Beijing), the capital of the
People’s Republic of China, is a famous city with a history spanning 1,000
years and a wealth of precious Chinese cultural heritage, including the Great
Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Acrobatic
art, Chinese circus and Peking Opera are Chinese cultural treasures that are
beloved among the people of Peking. These art forms combine music, acrobatics,
performance, mime and dance, and share many similarities with Western culture.
Foreign tourists walking along the streets or strolling through the parks of
Peking can often hear natives singing beautiful Peking opera, see them playing
diabolo or see them performing other acrobatics.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend / Jane the Virgin Golden Globe Nominations

Incorporating elements of traditional acrobatics, Chinese circus and Peking Opera, this distinguished group invites you to enjoy colorful costumes, elaborate make-up and visual and aural treats. See them perform unique and inventive acts, such as Great Teeter-board, Grand Flying Trapeze, Group Contortion and other astonishing acts of agility.

Legends of Tomorrow Trailer
Here is a first look at the highly anticipated new show DC's Legends of Tomorrow from The CW!
DC's Legends of Tomorrow premieres on Thursday, January 21st at 7pm on The Arkansas CW.
Mid-Season Schedule
The CW Network has released it's primetime mid-season lineup and there are a few changes that you need to know about.
The lineup for Monday through Wednesday will stay the same, the changes start on Thursday. On Thursday, January 21st The CW will premiere the Arrow/Flash spin-off Legends of Tomorrow at 7pm followed by the season premiere of The 100 at 8pm.
The fan favorite The Vampires Diaries and The Originals will move to Fridays, starting January 29th.
To make room for these changes Reign will air it's winter finale on January 22nd and return at a later date.

40/29 and The Arkansas CW Feeding Hope Turkey Drive!
The Arkansas CW Crew, 40/29 News anchors, reporters, station
volunteers and Feeding Hope Turkey Partner's collected Turkeys Friday to help
feed local families in need this holiday season.
We want to thank everyone who donated at designated Walmarts in both Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley! We had 2, 992 turkeys donated by viewers and by Butterball! Plus, Ocean Spray donated 2,000 cans of cranberry sauce.
40/29 and The Arkansas CW is working with
both the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, Samaritan Community Center and
the River Valley Regional Food Bank.

Turkey Drive is a community outreach initiative developed with the support of
Walmart, The River Valley Regional Food Bank, The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank,

Heroes joined forces on a two episode crossover event on The Arkansas CW. The crossover introduced new characters and laid the ground work for the highly anticipated DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Walton Arts Center 10x10 Arts Series: The Clown Princes of Silent Comedy
Paragon Ragtime Orchestra presents "The Clown Princes of Silent Comedy". Tuesday, November 17th at 7pm at Walton Arts Center.
The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra (PRO) is one of the world's foremost silent film accompanists and the world's only year-round, professional ensemble re-creating "America's Original Music".
In this program, the PRO will accompany a screening of three short films starring Charles Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd.
This all a part of Walton Arts Center's 10x10 Arts Series. A bold and diverse series of what's happening in the arts today. From music, to dance, to film and more, the 10x10 Arts Series transforms an audience into a community of exploration, discussion and learning.

We want to thank everyone who came by the adopt a pet event at the Bentonville's Farmers Market
We want to thank everyone who came by our booth and visited with The Arkansas CW Crew and Pedigree! We also want to thank Bella Vista Animal shelter for hanging out with us at the Bentonville Farmers Market in downtown Bentonville. A special thanks for Pedigree for covering the adoption fees. We help find homes for four (4) dogs and one (1) cat! If you are interested in adopting a pet you can call the Bella Vista Animal Shelter at 855-6020.

We have teamed up with Pedigree to help adopt out local pets on Saturday October 31st from 8am to 11 am! It will be held in the Bentonville Square in downtown Bentonville at the farmers Market. Pedigree has agreed to pay for the pet adoptions made during our event from 8 am to 11 am. The Arkansas CW Crew will see you!
