KHBS/KHOG available again on Cox Communications

KHBS/KHOG and the Arkansas CW today announced a restoration of its TV station signal to the Cox Communications cable systems in the Ft. Smith DMA.

KHBS/KHOG and the Arkansas CW’s carriage was briefly discontinued on the Cox systems beginning late Tuesday night, September 5, after an impasse was reached in retransmission-consent negotiations following the expiration of an existing contract.
“We are thankful for the patience of our viewers,” said KHBS/KHOG General Manager Shawn Oswald. “We appreciate that both parties recognized the heightened sense of urgency to resolve these negotiations both fairly and quickly so that our respective viewers and customers could be once again served by our stations.”

“We are very pleased to once again have KHBS/KHOG providing Cox customers the quality local and national programming that we invest so highly in for our local communities," said Oswald.
